In the SSC and equivalent examinations of the year 2018, the maximum fee per student has been fixed at the cost of Taka 1,350. This fee has been set for the students of science department. The fee for students of the Department of Humanities and Commerce is less. Their fees have been fixed at a maximum of Tk 370. For all sections, the delay fee has been set at Tk 100. The Dhaka, Chittagong and Madrasa Education Boards have issued separate notifications.
In the SSC and equivalent exam, the deadline for completing the online form has been fixed from 7 to 12 November. However, the online form will be filled with the delay fee from November 14 to 18. All educational institutions will have to publish results of SSC and equivalent examinations by November 5. With these provisions recently, the Inter Education Board Coordination Sub-Committee published detailed information to meet the SSC form.
Parents said that the education boards determine the minimum fee per student in the SSC form, but schools earn up to three to seven times.
Namdami schools earn the most money by selling it. But due to the tightening of the boards, most organizations are now paying extra fees in different ways. A receipt to fill forms is approximately equal to the amount of money that is being paid by the Board. However, additional cash is being taken in the name of other receipts for the development. But to fill the form, the student has to pay the full amount of the two receipts.
Parents are also worried this time due to the circular being issued to the SSC. They are awaiting how much money the school fees are set. However, in the previous years, the guardians have been able to pay more money to fill the form, but some techniques have earned only a few times the money.
According to the Dhaka Board of Education, the fees for the SSC and equivalent examination form has been fixed at 80 Taka. The practical fee for each letter is 30 taka, transcript fee of 35 students per student, original certificate fee of Tk 100, scout and girls guide fee of 15 taka, education week fee of five taka, and annual sports affiliation fee per year for educational institutions has been fixed at Tk 300. As a result, a regular student will be required to pay the fees to complete the maximum one thousand 550 taka.
Dhaka Board of Education Professor Md. Mahbubur Rahman said, "We have published detailed information to meet the SSC form. We want all educational institutions to take the fees prescribed by the board. But if someone extends extra money, they will be subjected to disciplinary action.
